FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAMS

The Riverton Volunteer Fire Departments feels that the first step in fire prevention is education.  We have had a very long tradition in the Riverton Community of keeping the public educated on fire safety.

We hold a several fire prevention programs during the month of October in conjunction with the National Fire Prevention Week.  We are able to instruct over 3000 children during this week. 

We are also able to bring our Fire Prevention Program to any group, or organization.  Recently we have visisted Senior Citizen Facilities and helped staff, and occupants with fire escape routes, and fire safety information.
